Celebrating Dedication in Education

UniteDFW hosted a celebration of DISD community liaisons at Highland Park United Methodist on Tuesday, May 14th.

Time was spend celebrating the incredible work these liaisons do at individual schools to stand in the gap for students and their families. They provide food, support and transportation options.

They connect with individuals to give emotional and mental support.

They sub in for teachers and administration that need to ‘step away’

Just to name a few things.

And they receive so many resources from outside organizations to supply the students and families connected to the community with the basic things they need.

We will continue to stand in the gap with our partners and grow the amazing service opportunities that the Lord is providing in our schools.
